Join us 6:30pm Wednesday Feb 7 at the Butler YMCA when Ryan Stauffer of the Audubon Society will present a program on wetlands: Wetlands are an integral part of Pennsylvania's ecology. They act as filters, flood mitigation devices, and they are also home to various species of wildlife. Wetlands are the most productive ecosystem on the planet. By the end of this presentation, you will be able to differentiate between bogs, fens, swamps, marshes, and vernal pools as well as identify key wetland indicator plants.
