BOC April Bike Ride – Saturday, April 27th at 1:00PM (Armstrong Trail – Ford City)RESCHEDULED

The Bike Ride for April is going to be on the Armstrong Trail. It is going to be on Saturday April 27 at 1pm. We are going to start in Ford City and go south for 10 miles on a new section of the Armstrong Trail to a bridge in Schenley. It is going to be an out and back ride, Please give Rich an email address to get a hold of you in case he has to cancel because of the weather at rich1946.rt@gmail.com To get there from Butler get on 422 east take Ford City Ext A on to PA-66 south go 1.7 miles take a slight right on Ford City PA 128 to 100 3rd Ave Parking Lot In Ford City. 100 3rd Ave Ford City is a good address for your phone or GPS. Let’s hope for good weather.

BOC Backpack – Saturday/Sunday, May 4th and 5th (Quehanna Area, PA Wilds)

Quehanna Area Backpack May 4th-5th. We will be hiking 13 miles over two days on the Quehanna Trail and two side trails, the Red Run Trail and the Sanders Trail. This is a moderately strenuous trip. For more information contact Joe at hardis123@msn.com

BOC May Ramble – Wednesday, May 8th at 6:00PM (Wolf Creek Narrows)

Easy 1.5 mile loop trail featuring mature hardwoods and wildflowers along the creek.  From Slippery Rock, take West Water Street for 2 miles.  It will turn into Miller Road.  Parking just after the bridge.  Call Carol for more information:  (724)679-0501

BOC Road Cleanup – Wednesday, May 15th at 1:00PM (Route 422 – from Pleasant Valley Road to Bridge)

We will have a road cleanup on May 15th at 1:00PM.  Meeting at Rt. 422 and Pleasant Valley Road.  Bags, gloves, vests and grabbers will be provided.  We clean from Pleasant Valley Road to the bridge over Lake Arthur.  No experience necessary.  Dress for the weather.  More help will make the task go faster for all.  If you have any questions, please email Tammy at painthorse_33@yahoo.com or Tom at creekfishing40@gmail.com
